Jacob + Kaeli | An Ethereal Coffee Shop + Forest Park Engagement | St Louis Engagement Photographer
It's no secret that I have the tendency to gravitate towards sessions that document & highlight the love of couples - weddings, engagement sessions - give me all the love stories + sweet snuggles. Jacob + Kaeli were full of this during their engagement session, so much so that they took very little direction, plus added flair to their session by showcasing some of their favorite things - coffee & the St. Louis Blues. I may be a huge fan of both so we had a blast & lots of laughs, there may have been more people than I could count on both hands that commented to me that they were the cutest couple ever & i'd have to agree!
Jacob + Kaeli are tying the knot on the June 23rd of this year at Heritage Chapel just outside of Springfield, Missouri & I am the lucky gal that will be preserving their special day for years to come by capturing their whole day. These two have a magnetic relationship that finds itself rooted deeply in their faith & their passion of service. Kaeli is in her fourth year studying to become a nurse & Jacob is studying church leadership, which is something that was formidable to him in his teens + to Kaeli as well.
We headed to Kaldi's Coffee Roasting Co. first where these two enjoyed a nice cup of hot coffee + conversation before making our way to Forest Park to some of the beautiful spots that the huge park has to offer. As these two were about to head back to school for the evening, Kaeli said "we have a joke that Jacob & I fit perfectly together so that his chins rests perfectly on my nose. Can we capture that?" Swoon, my answer was "of course!!"
If this wasn't the perfect ending to a wonderful session & a precursor to their big day approaching quickly, then I don't know what is. These two. Their love. This story. I cannot wait to document their love on the day that they become Mr + Mrs.
Congratulations to these two on their engagement & all the excitement around the countdown until their big day!
