Pecan Tree Farm Mesilla New Mexico Anniversary Photographs

Ian and Isabella, what an incredible couple.

After five years of marriage, they decided to celebrate their anniversary by having wedding photographs taken. Ones that they truly loved. When Isabella reached out, she mentioned their original wedding portraits were less than what they had hoped for. It was equally an honor but also added to the perspective that your wedding day being captured is major. You want to love your photos not just when you receive them, but years down the road.

They chose the pecan tree farms in New Mexico because of the ethereal feel and nature of the atmosphere. Lots of green, dreamy light, and SO quiet. It was so intimate to bring their boho, modern but timeless vision to life. With the farm to ourselves for mile (can I say more how quiet and peaceful it was?) there was so much room to bring their relationship in focus and make their wedding portraits, the wedding portraits they always dreamt of, come to life.

It was such an experience bringing these to life, wedding days never cease to amaze me, but it was fun to step outside of those confines and create timeless portraits that were honest of their love and brought the importance of beautiful photos to life for them.
